When Phoenix played in Stockholm a couple of weeks ago, singer Thomas Mars elbowed his way through the crowd in the last encore and climbed the mixing desk to receive all of the love in the venue. When he passed me, I caught the moment and gave him a quick hug. Brilliant gig by a brilliant band. I was happy.
